Awards of the DPG Associations
The three sections of the DPG award dissertation prizes annually at the DPG spring conferences. In addition, there are other official awards organised and presented by individual DPG associations. These include the Young Scientist Award for Socio- and Econophysics of the Physics of Socio-Economic Systems division, the DPG Young Scientist Award for Accelerator Physics and the AGPP Teaching Award.
Dissertation Prize of the Section Atoms, Molecules, Quantum Optics and Photonics of the DPG (SAMOP)
The divisions of the DPG united in the AMOP section announce a dissertation prize. The aim of the prize is to recognise outstanding scientific work and its excellent presentation in a lecture. The award consists of prize money of 1,500 EUR and a travel grant of 500 EUR.

The divisions of the DPG united in the SKM announce a dissertation prize. The aim of the prize is to recognise outstanding scientific work and its excellent presentation in a lecture. The award consists of prize money of 1,500 EUR and a travel grant of 500 EUR.

Young Scientist Award for Socio- and Econophysics of the division Physics of Socio-economic Systems (YSA)
The Young Scientist Award for Socio- and Econophysics aims to promote the work of young researchers and to recognise outstanding scientific contributions that use methods derived from physics to contribute to a better understanding of socio-economic problems. The award consists of prize money of 7,500 EUR.

DPG Young Scientist Award for Accelerator Physics
The Young Scientist Award for Accelerator Physics aims to promote the work of young researchers and to recognise outstanding scientific contributions made in an early research phase in the field of accelerator physics. The award consists of prize money of 5,000 EUR.

"INNOMAG e.V. Dissertationspreis und INNOMAG e.V. Diplom/Masterpreis
The Working Group on Magnetism*), in which the DPG Magnetism Section participates, annually awards the INNOMAG Diploma/Master's Prize and a Dissertation Prize. The aim of the prizes is to recognise outstanding research in the context of a diploma/master's thesis or a doctoral thesis and its excellent communication in speech and writing. The awards consist of prize money of EUR 1,000 (dissertation prize) and EUR 500 (diploma/master's prize).
