Beschreibung
546. Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Seminar
December 02 -04, 2013
The aim of this seminar was to bring together the world leading experts in the field of light in random media. The latest developments have been shared, common interests determined and future projects developed.
The meeting covered original research on all aspects of light in disordered media. Topics were in particular:
Disorder in Photonic Crystals
Random Laser
Anderson Localization
Optical Levy Flights
Focusing of Light Through Scattering Media
Parametric Processes in Disordered Nonlinear Photonic Crystals
Accommodation and meals have been provided in the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef for all participants free of charge, thanks to the generous funding by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.
