Beschreibung

Scope
The LHC did not only bring us a Higgs, but also plenty of other data, which -- together with results from other experiments -- helps us to improve our understanding of strong interactions, be it in the context of quantum chromodynamics or of extensions of the Standard Model. These two guises of strong interactions share the same theoretical methods, and progress on one side entails advancement on the other.
Against this background, the workshop gathers together present and future experts in the various aspects of strong interactions to present, discuss, and learn about the latest developments in the field. It will take place at the Conference Centre of the German Physical Society in Bad Honnef, Germany. The program consists of invited and contributed talks as well as a poster session. The workshop is funded by the Wilhelm & Else Heraeus Foundation, which covers local costs for all participants and also donates a price for the best poster presentation.
