Matteo Paris (Università degli Studi di Milano)
Matteo Paris is a theoretician, working in quantum information, quantum optics, open quantum systems and quantum theory of measurement. Since 2008 he has been also involved in the experimental implementation of quantum technologies. Currently the lab is competitive in the field of discrete variables, implemented with polarization qubits, as well as with continuous variables, i.e. exploiting squeezing and entanglement.
Laura Fabbietti (Technische Universität München)
Laura Fabbietti studied in Milan and came to Munich to get her PhD. Now she is professor for Dense and Strange Hadronic Matter at TUM. One of her research goals is to find out what is inside a neutron star.
