Nachruf auf Prof. Dr. Armin Hermann (1933-2024)
Am 12. Februar 2024 verstarb der Wissenschaftshistoriker Prof. Dr Armin Hermann (1933-2024). Er war der erste Lehrstuhlinhaber für Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften und Technik am Historischen Institut der Universität Stuttgart und eine zentrale Figur für die Geschichte unseres Fachverbands, den er 1972 gegründet hat.
Nachruf auf Dr. Horst Kant (1946-2023)
Am 25.12.2023 verstarb der Wissenschaftshistoriker Dr. Horst Kant (1946-2023). Er gründete 1979 zusammen mit Dieter Hoffmann die Arbeitsgruppe Physikgeschichte der Physikalischen Gesellschaft der DDR, die von beiden bis 1990 geleitet wurde.

International Seminar on Material Culture 2023/24
We invite proposals for the next international seminar on "Material Culture in the History of Physics", funded by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation. The workshop consists of a self-organized theoretical part and an attendance part, which will take place from March 4 to 8, 2024 at the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
