Henry Kurt Weyermann, Maximilian Jesinghaus and Sky Douangdara founded the regional group Düsseldorf in June 2024.

Like many others, we first came into contact with the German Physical Society [German: Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG)] and thus also with the young DPG through the Abitur Prize for Physics. We didn't even know each other personally yet. It was only at the beginning of the winter semester of 2023/24 when we each began to pursue a degree in physics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf that we gradually got to know each other.

We found out from each other that we were each part of the DPG. So we decided to found the Düsseldorf regional group in our second semester.

And now, we are here and hope that we can offer you lots of fun and interest in physics through various events.
