Dr. Marc Winter studied physics in Saarbrücken and got his doctorate in engineering at Clausthal University. He now works at Dillinger in the research and development department as a developer of machine learning algorithms and applications. He is working on methods to optimize production processes to improve material properties, production costs and process reliability based on algorithmic predictions. In his presentation, he focuses on the challenges of applying theoretical knowledge in an industrial environment.
