Description

Silicon is a promising platform for making spin qubits in quantum dots, because the qubits are capable of a long intrinsic decoherence time (> msec), a high temperature operation (> K), and compatibility with industrial technology. Taking these advantages high-fidelity quantum operations have been achieved and industrial approaches have been employed to scale up the qubit system. This talk describes the key resources for the quantum operations, i.e. quantum coherence and entanglement in silicon to implement the quantum gates [1], quantum non-demolition measurement [2] and error correction [3], and in addition applications of industrial technology for the qubit scale-up.
