Interdisciplinary Association of DPG
Members who are interested in a multidisciplinary topic are organised in working groups with a vote in council or working groups without a vote in council. This can be a physical topic, which covers several areas of physics, but it can also be a topic of general or social interest.
Working Group with a vote in council
Members of the DPG who are active or interested in an interdisciplinary manner can organise themselves in working groups (with a vote in council). The formation and dissolution of working groups is decided by the board of directors. Each working group has a chairman, who is an ex officio member of the board with voting rights.
Working Group without a vote in council
Members of the DPG who are active or interested in an interdisciplinary manner can organise themselves in working groups (without a vote in council). The formation and dissolution of working groups is decided by the Board of Directors upon request. Each working group has a chairperson who is an ex officio member of the Board of Directors without voting rights.
